This internal 50 pin to 68 pin adapter allows 50 pin SCSI drives to be connected to 68 pin SCSI Controller.
50-Pin SCSI is called narrow SCSI and 68-Pin SCSI is called wide SCSI or SCSI2 or SCSI3. But 50-pin SCSI physically is wider and bigger than 68-pin SCSI.
50-Pin SCSI Drives have Male connector, 68-Pin SCSI Drives have Female connectors, so this adapter have Female-to-Female connector.
